About

Showing up in the Triad since 2018.

The Black Male Summit is not a one-off event. It is one part of the ongoing work of City Help of the Triad, which held the first Summit in 2024.

City Help of the Triad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Greensboro, North Carolina, founded and led by Reginald M. Holiday. Since 2018 the organization has worked inside Guilford County schools and neighborhoods — not parachuting in for a weekend, but building relationships that hold up across school years.

That track record is what the Black Male Summit stands on. Sponsors are not funding an idea; they are funding an organization with a history of delivery in the Triad.

The Just Moves philosophy

Strategy over silence.

Just Moves is the operational core of the modern Black man’s journey from the block to the boardroom. It rejects the paralysis of over-analysis and the comfort of complacency. In a world that often expects our stagnation, a Move is a radical act of self-determination.

01

Strategic Execution

We move for progress, not motion.

Every action must be anchored in a plan that advances our economic, mental, or spiritual standing. If it doesn't build legacy or leverage, it isn't a move.

02

Radical Accountability

No excuses.

Owning the outcome regardless of the obstacle. We acknowledge systemic barriers only to navigate around them, never to park in front of them. We are the architects of our own recovery and the authors of our own success.

03

Decisive Ownership

No handouts.

A commitment to self-reliance and community reinvestment. We prioritize building our own tables and mastering the digital and financial tools of the future. What we earn, we keep — and what we keep, we use to lift others.

The Just Moves mandate

  • Stop waiting for the perfect conditions.
  • Stop asking for permission to excel.
  • Stop talking about what you intend to do.

Analyze the field. Identify the goal. Make the move.
